Mojo 2013 Gaur 387170, sculpted by Anna Dobrowolska-Oczko. To be painted a Malaysian gaur bull (i.e. "seladang", Bos gaurus laosiensis, or hubbacki).

Gaur bull resin by Anna Dobrowolska-Oczko - (Bos gaurus) reworked to a gayal (Bos frontalis), a gaur - zebu hybrid. This one retains a pretty wild and Indian morphology, so perhaps it's a gaur-heavy Nagaland cross or somesuch.

2016 Kouprey bull (Bos sauveli) resin by Noémi D. Soos. Painted and mohaired into a black bull.
The species was known to have horn sheaths which frayed and chipped away at the tips as the horns grew. I tried to imitate the effect on the model with minuscule hanks of twisted mohair made rigid with glue. 1:22. 2018 work. |

2014 Java banteng bull resin (edition number 4/20) by Noémi D. Soós, reworked into a buff "Bali cattle" bull (Bos javanicus f. domestica). 1:22.
Bali cattle are a hybrid between the Java banteng and zebu cattle (Bos indicus). |

Lineol wild yak (Bos mutus) & wisent (Bison bonasus), 4th generation (so from 1950 - 65). Both are the later, 2nd colourways of the moulds. 1:20. Original finish.
Wisents are a crossbreed between the Pleistocene steppe bison (Bison priscus) and Aurochs (Bos primigenius). The yak will become a domestic yak (Bos grunniens). |
